Strong Attendance, Strong Future

At Santa Rita Union School District, we believe every day counts. Regular attendance is one of the most important factors in your child’s success — in school and in life.
Why attendance matters:
- Students who attend regularly build stronger friendships, confidence, and skills.
- Missing just 2 days a month adds up to 20 days in a school year — a full month of learning lost.
- Good attendance keeps students connected, prepared, and proud of their progress.
When students are often absent, they miss critical learning time. This can lead to:
- Gaps in reading and math skills.
- Lower grades and confidence.
- Higher risk of not graduating later on.
